A Collab by Cycle Project Store × BOLDR Supply Co × Mark De Winne (Made for Multitudes)

What happens when you mix cycling culture, local flavour, and a pinch of wit? You get Le Tour de Makan — a three-way collaboration between Cycle Project Store, BOLDR Supply Co, and type designer Mark De Winne (Made for Multitudes) that celebrates the simple joys of riding and refuelling.

For Cycle Project Store, it’s a nod to the community of cyclists who live for the thrill of the ride and the post-ride chatter over kopi and kaya toast. For BOLDR, it’s a natural extension of our adventure-driven ethos — encouraging riders to explore, discover, and take the scenic route, even if the destination is your favourite hawker stall. And with Mark De Winne’s typographic artistry, every piece carries a thoughtful blend of design, humour, and cultural character.

Le Tour de Makan is our tongue-in-cheek tribute to those who pedal as hard for their next meal as they do for their next climb. It’s a reminder that the spirit of adventure isn’t just in distant mountains or remote trails — sometimes, it’s just around the corner, served on a banana leaf or in a brown paper dabao.

The collection features three everyday essentials designed for riders and roamers alike:

  • The T-Shirt — Le Tour de Makan: A post-ride badge of honour for those who cycle for coffee, prata, and stories.

  • The Musette Bag: Our dabao-style take on the classic rider’s pouch, perfect for stashing your barang-barang or the day’s takeaway.

  • The Cap — Dabao Cycling Club: A nod to our unofficial team — the folks who show up, ride out, and always know where to makan next.

Each piece reflects our shared belief that design and adventure should never take themselves too seriously. From the workshop to the café, from Tanglin to Tiong Bahru, this collection rides on the same philosophy — stay curious, stay hungry, and keep it BOLDR.

So grab your bike, your friends, and your appetite — and join the Dabao Cycling Club. After all, every good ride deserves a better meal.
