The Wayfarer is our tribute to classic 24-hour sub-dial watches housed in a sturdy titanium Venture case. Back when mobile phones were non-existent, 24-hour sub-dial watches were worn mostly by miners, explorers, submariners, and the like - jobs that could not rely on sunlight to know the actual time of day.
In today's world, there are those among us who blur the lines between work and play, and consequentially, night and day. If your body doesn't speak the language of circadian rhythms, you and your Wayfarer will understand each other just fine.

I love this watch. So much for the price.
Really nice watch
Perfect "small" watch to fit my wrist. The titanium case makes it very light and comfortable. It's not top-heavy as we can sometimes have with diver watches on nato straps. The 200m water resistance is rare for a watch this size. I was afraid the case to be too dark because of the titanium but it's brighter in real life than the picture. The textured dial is beautiful and the 24h embossed sub dial adds some contrast nicely. The creamy lume hands and the orange tip add some color and warmness. Not related to the watch but the Boldr support service was more than perfect (I changed my mind and returned a product in exchange for this one). Everything was taken care of quickly and nicely.
3.5 Stars, Good for the money but next edition needs improvement.
Pros: The case and dial are what make this watch shine. The blasted titanium case is built in such a way that the watch feels thinner than it is, even on the supplied nato strap. The Dial is superb, love the 24hr subdial, and the outline around the date window makes it feel just a touch more thought-through than some other watches running this Miyota caliber. Cons: The operation of the watch does not feel very good. You can feel the gears bumping each other as you set the time/ change the date, the hand-winding feels grainy, and the movement rotor is very loud. Once the watch runs, it's a good experience, but the setting and handling are not very enjoyable. When the next update of the wayfarer is released, a bit of QC on the movement would be very welcome. Maybe a higher caliber? I'd happily pay a higher price for the same watch with a 9015, or even an ETA 2824. The watch is beautiful but the movement really brings it down
Lovely looking dial and very light too.
The following is my personal opinion which has no bearing on the quality of the watch: I would have a preferred a 40 rather than 38 which I find difficult to read the date ( I know traditionally the field is usually 38mm). I changed the Nato to a leather as I found the strap too bulky. On a more positive note it’s beautiful to look at and look great with a leather strap.
Great watch at great price
Overall this watch is a 5/5. A little under a week in and my experience has been very good. Movement seems solid. I'm observing about +8/10 sec/day which is in spec. It feels a little rough when you set the time, like you can feel feedback in the crown, but this doesn't seem to cause any ill effect, just different than my other mechanicals. It showed some magnetism out of the box so I ran it over my de-gausser. No big deal. Visually it's lovely. Dial texture and embossed numerals are top notch, and the dimension on the sector containing the indices are the real reason I chose this field watch over a Vaer, Hamilton, Bulova, etc. The case shape is unique and interesting, and the blasted surface finish is nice. I also love the pop of color on the second hand. Certainly unique in my collection. I could do without the 24hr subdial, but it was a compromise I made in order to have the date and dial texture (vs. the other field watches mentioned as well as the other Venture model). The small face took a little getting used to for me, but that is personal preference and after a few days it was a non issue. The supplied strap seemed of good quality and the color suited the watch, but I removed it IMMEDIATELY because the material is too thick for a standard NATO in my opinion. It would be fine for single pass. I like changing straps often so this was no big deal to me. The only REAL complaint I have is the lume. It is very weak, which is a huge shame cause the lume pattern on the numeral and indices is awesome, but it's barely noticeable unless I deliberately hold it under a lamp for a minute...and the numerals are even weaker than the indices. Not sure if this is just on my example or is typical of the model. If not for the lume, this would be 5/5 all the way. Love everything else about it: looks great, quality movement, super legible, wears great, affordable, and takes a variety of different strap styles well (I prefer it on canvas straps and THIN material NATOs).
