Known as the ‘Empty Quarter’, the Rubʿ al-Khali desert constitutes the largest portion of the Arabian Desert, covering around 250,000 square miles (650,000 square km). It is the largest area of continuous sand in the world, and it is also one of the driest regions in the world. BOLDR Ambassador Jukka Viljanen will be undertaking a daring expedition on foot across this unforgiving terrain in early 2023. Jukka will brave through scorching heat and varied topography of soft sands, sand dunes, salt flats, and sand sheets, with some areas reaching as high as 2,000 feet (610 meters) above sea level.
The Expedition I Rubʿ al-Khali is built to outlast such unforgiving terrains, and it will accompany Jukka on his desert adventure. Strap yours on, get back on trek, and tell your own story.

Warranty:
All BOLDR watches come with a 30-month warranty on the internal movements of the watch, which excludes any part subjected to external wear & tear. External wear & tear comprises (but is not limited to) scratches on case, lugs, or crystal, and/or water damage due to negligence. Shipping:
We aim to dispatch your order within 48 business hours of verification, although this may vary according to the current workload of our warehouse. UPS/FedEx/DHL pledges worldwide delivery within 5 business days.
Available stock will be shipped within 48 hours of placing your order from Monday – Friday, 9am to 6pm. Orders placed on weekends will be shipped out the following Monday.
Pre-orders will be shipped once stocks have arrived in our warehouse. Shipment will be dispatched within 48 hours of stock arrival. However, BOLDR reserves the right to delay the shipment in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.

Rugged design with great details and finish. The glass back with the topological map is a nice touch. Movement is strong, but smooth. Customs charges to get it to the UK were a bit of a shock, but love the watch.

My Rub Al Khali version of the Boldr Expedition is a great looking piece. I especially appreciate the way the bead blasted case coordinates perfectly with the optional bracelet. The highly legible dial possesses loads of visual interest with unique hands and color variations. The piece was initially slow to be shipped but Hy was open and honest about the issues and intervened to get me the piece in short order. Spectacular customer service supporting a fabulous watch.
