The Wayfarer is our tribute to classic 24-hour sub-dial watches housed in a sturdy titanium Venture case. Back when mobile phones were non-existent, 24-hour sub-dial watches were worn mostly by miners, explorers, submariners, and the like - jobs that could not rely on sunlight to know the actual time of day.
In today's world, there are those among us who blur the lines between work and play, and consequentially, night and day. If your body doesn't speak the language of circadian rhythms, you & your Wayfarer will understand each other just fine.

Great watch at great price
Overall this watch is a 5/5. A little under a week in and my experience has been very good. Movement seems solid. I'm observing about +8/10 sec/day which is in spec. It feels a little rough when you set the time, like you can feel feedback in the crown, but this doesn't seem to cause any ill effect, just different than my other mechanicals. It showed some magnetism out of the box so I ran it over my de-gausser. No big deal. Visually it's lovely. Dial texture and embossed numerals are top notch, and the dimension on the sector containing the indices are the real reason I chose this field watch over a Vaer, Hamilton, Bulova, etc. The case shape is unique and interesting, and the blasted surface finish is nice. I also love the pop of color on the second hand. Certainly unique in my collection. I could do without the 24hr subdial, but it was a compromise I made in order to have the date and dial texture (vs. the other field watches mentioned as well as the other Venture model). The small face took a little getting used to for me, but that is personal preference and after a few days it was a non issue. The supplied strap seemed of good quality and the color suited the watch, but I removed it IMMEDIATELY because the material is too thick for a standard NATO in my opinion. It would be fine for single pass. I like changing straps often so this was no big deal to me. The only REAL complaint I have is the lume. It is very weak, which is a huge shame cause the lume pattern on the numeral and indices is awesome, but it's barely noticeable unless I deliberately hold it under a lamp for a minute...and the numerals are even weaker than the indices. Not sure if this is just on my example or is typical of the model. If not for the lume, this would be 5/5 all the way. Love everything else about it: looks great, quality movement, super legible, wears great, affordable, and takes a variety of different strap styles well (I prefer it on canvas straps and THIN material NATOs).
Awesome daily wear
I love how comfortable the watch is and I feel safe taking it everywhere and anywhere because of its great construction. The dial is very handsome to look at as well.
Overall, the build quality is super solid and aligns with all the reviews on the produce I have seen. What stand out specifically to me is the titanium case, sapphire and AR coated crystal, and unique dual. All matched together create a simple watch that contains strong details for the wearer. I only rate it two stars thought because of the movement. Although it works properly and keeps time well, it is evident that the seiko movement is implanted in this case. The gears chunk together when I alter the time and the rotor slushing around is evident in a quieter space. A great field watch on its own equipped with strong loom and robust construction, the affordable movement unaltered by Boldr is what pulls RBI’s timepiece down for me. Nonetheless, this could just be a personal issue and I still recommend the watch to anyone interested in field watches.
Incredibly wearable, impressively spec’d
I really wanted a full titanium watch and I love field watches in general so this was perfect for me. This is such a great watch for the price. I love the case shape, the textured dial and I think the asymmetric layout with the sundial and the date at 3 really works very well. Needless to say it is incredibly light. I thought the crown looked a little unusual with its knurling but it is actually very easy to grip. The movement has been very accurate thus far at +2s/d but it is obviously not terribly refined, with very loud rotor wobble and a little instability when hand winding. Nevertheless, it is running much more accurately than any NH35 I’ve ever owned. I recommend to get the bracelet for the discounted price when you purchase the watch and while the clasp is stamped, It looks incredibly with its seamless integration with the case. Overall, highly recommended.
Overall an excellent watch.
Overall this watch is absolutely fantastic. Great legible dial. Awesome build quality. Cool materials. Only cons are a slightly loud rotor, and pretty weaksauce lume, but overall I'm thrilled by what is essentially a dive field watch. What's not to like?
