Ranger Upepo
5Upepo means ‘wind’ in Swahili, a vital element in determining migration patterns particularly during the rainy seasons from April - May and mid-October to December. Also, the presence of a cool summer breeze on the hot African plains is always welcomed, referred to as 'kupunga upepo'. That's why we chose this beautiful word for our Ranger.
This Safari Ranger is a compact beast forged with stainless steel and a determination for exploration. Measuring 40mm across your wrist, it has the simple elegance of a field-style tool watch.
The beauty of a California dial never ceases to amaze us. Add to that a vibrant colorway shining through a flat sapphire crystal and you've got a winner. Our brand-new case has a charm of its own, too - peep those convex grooves that provide a firm finger hold while using the screw-down crown.
Depicted on the case back is one of four (at random) animal species found on a typical safari, a reminder to conserve our wildlife population. In an age of digital technology, we daresay an old-school toughie like this is a natural selection.

Warranty:
All BOLDR watches come with a 30-month warranty on the internal movements of the watch, which excludes any part subjected to external wear & tear. External wear & tear comprises (but is not limited to) scratches on case, lugs, or crystal, and/or water damage due to negligence. Shipping:
We aim to dispatch your order within 48 business hours of verification, although this may vary according to the current workload of our warehouse. UPS/FedEx/DHL pledges worldwide delivery within 5 business days.
Available stock will be shipped within 48 hours of placing your order from Monday – Friday, 9am to 6pm. Orders placed on weekends will be shipped out the following Monday.
Pre-orders will be shipped once stocks have arrived in our warehouse. Shipment will be dispatched within 48 hours of stock arrival. However, BOLDR reserves the right to delay the shipment in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.

Japankhaki California dials and artworks are amazing !
I really like the khaki and California dials on this watch. With its sturdy watch case and screw-down crown, I can use it with confidence during outdoor activities. The artworks of wild animals on the case back are cute. I wanted to collect all kinds of animal artworks. The NATO strap is slippery, so I wear it on my wrist instead of a leather belt.

Boldr makes very nice watches and considering the price point, they deliver a lot of value. TheRanger Upepo is very well executed: great colors, case design and California dial. Everything is in proportion and I like that they executed it in steel. Only very small quibbles is that I would like a bit more contrast for the numerals and while the second hand is “tipped”, it is in the tan dial color so I’m not sure what the point is-a more contrast color would provide much more visibility for the sweep seconds. While the Nato is a nice complement, a slightly weightier strap would work better imo—when you put it on, the strap seems a tad on the flimsy side. Overall a great watch however.
